I am Vivek Mudgil, a simple, fun loving, adventerous and passionate individual, with very high level of self-motivation. Karma is the key word in my life. I enjoy whatever I do (maybe because I only do whatever I enjoy......). I believe that happiness is not a destination, it is a method of life.

My interests are many and varied. When I am not solving engineering problems, not playing/watching cricket, not watching movie, not playing tennis, chess etc., not listening my music collection, not reading fiction, not trekking/camping, not driving in Himalayas, I do a bit of academics.

Engineering runs in my blood. For me engineering is not a subject. It is about how one applies his/her knowledge in day-to-day life. I take pride in calling myself an Engineer. Electronics and Communications just happen to be a subject I have studied.

I love adventure and challenges in life. Trekking is one of my favorite sport. Nanda Devi sanctuary is my dream trek. Climbing K2 (Karakorum peak) is one thing I always dream about, but don't have any misgivings about attempting it. Himalayas excite me. Would love to spend lot of time in Himalayas someday.

My favorite cricketers are Kapildev and Sachin. Pete Sampras and Ivan Lendl are the tennis players I have always admired. My favorite actors are Shammi Kapoor and Dharmendra. Actresses, I like them all but I am an ardent fan of the great Indian caberete dancer Helen. R.D. Burman's music and Asha's voice is a combination which makes me crazy. Mannadey is my favorite singer. Other singers that I listen to are Rafi and Kishore. I am a movie buff too. I like all Hindi movies. I love Cowboy movies, War movies and Bond movies. Western music, I could never develop a taste for it.

I expect commitment, sincerity and passion in those associated with me. My rationale is that every association has some purpose and that purpose can only be achieved if everyone associated with that purpose thrives. I love helping others to learn whatever I know, and in the process, try to learn as much from them in return.

I admire the great strategists. I believe that strategy planning, hard work and perfection are the key to achieving any goal. I love dreaming. I am a strong believer of - "if you can dream it, you can do it". You are never given a dream without also being given the power to make it true. You may have to work for it, however.

In brief, my goal is to make every moment of my life meaningful by extracting the maximum happiness out of it, doing whatever I enjoy, and doing it in the best possible manner.
